The "Intercinema" agency became
an official international distributor of Andrey Smirnov's film
"Once Upon a Time There Lived a Simple Woman"
The "Intercinema" agency founded in 1992 the company specializes
in the promotion and saled of Russian films abroad and the
acquisition and distribution of foreign art films in Russia.
Among Russian films the company has successfully supported are
Russian films by Vladimir Khotinenko, Alexey Balabanov,
Alexander Rogozhkin, Artur Aristakisjan, Sergey Bodrov Jr.,
Andrey Zvyagintsev, Guka Omarova, Marina Razbezhkina, Alexey
Guerman Jr., Pavel Lounguine. We work with leading international
film festivals to help them find the very best of Russian
cinema.
In Russia and countries of the CIS, the company released films
by Lars von Trier, Wong Kar-wai, Francois Ozon, Aki Kaurismaki,
Michael Haneke, Kim Ki-duk, Jim Jarmush, George Clooney, Jiri
Menzel, Carlos Reygadas and many others art directors from all
over the world.
Raisa Fomina was named by Hollywood Reporter "one of the 100
most important women in film business" and was awarded Ordre
National du Merite by the President of France. |

rights to Andrey Smirnov's Once Upon a Time There Lived a Simple
Woman. The film's release is scheduled for the Fall of 2011 |
